Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect for the GFS Solutions Architecture team in New York.

You will partner with sales and AWS teams to craft scalable cloud architectures for financial services customers, driving adoption and guiding migrations to the cloud with a focus on AI/ML and generative AI workloads. The role emphasizes strategic thinking, strong communication with executive stakeholders, hands-on cloud design, and collaboration across product teams.

Qualifications

8+ years in technology domains (software, cloud, or infrastructure).
6+ years designing or implementing applications or infrastructures.
6+ years IT development or consulting in software/Internet industries.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent (or 12+ years of relevant experience).

Responsibilities

Develop strategic technical plans to accelerate AWS adoption across customer lines of business.
Own the technical relationship with customers and advise on security, cost, performance and reliability.
Educate customers on AWS value and lead deep architectural discussions for cloud deployments.
Conduct trainings and contribute to customer-facing publications and knowledge sharing.
Travel up to 25% as needed.
