Job summary

Robinhood is seeking a Senior Security Engineer for the Cloud Security team to protect the company’s AWS cloud and help engineers build secure applications. You’ll implement foundational security capabilities, enforce least privilege, and drive security automation with Terraform and code.

You will work across offices (NYC, Menlo Park, Bellevue) with in-person collaboration and a safety-first mindset to reduce risk while enabling product teams to move fast.

Qualifications

• Experience securing enterprise applications on AWS with security automation.
• Strong knowledge of AWS IAM, SCPs, WAF, and Network Firewall.
• Proficiency in Golang or Python with IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own security posture for cloud infrastructure used by Robinhood products.
• Build and operate security solutions for foundational infrastructure.
• Protect Robinhood’s AWS cloud environment and provide security capabilities to engineers.
• Set up systems with a safety-first approach.
