Robinhood is recruiting a Senior Security Engineer for the Cloud Security team to safeguard AWS infrastructure and build security controls across services. The role emphasizes a safety-first approach and deep cloud security expertise.

Based in the US, the position requires in-person attendance at one of the offices (Bellevue, WA; Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY) at least 3 days per week, with a strong focus on securing scalable cloud platforms used by the company’s products.

Qualifications

• Experience securing enterprise apps on AWS with safe defaults and automation.
• Strong knowledge of IAM, SCPs, WAF, and Network Firewall.
• Proficiency in Golang (preferred) or Python; IaC with Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Own the security posture for cloud infrastructure used by Robinhood products.
• Build and operate security solutions for foundational infrastructure used by developers.
• Protect Robinhood’s AWS cloud environment and implement safety-first controls.
• Collaborate with engineers to enable secure application delivery.
