Compass is seeking a Senior Security Engineer, Cloud Security, to lead secure design and automated controls for our cloud platforms. You will partner with engineering teams to deploy critical security enhancements across AWS, Azure, and multi-cloud environments, while advocating safe-by-default practices.

In this hands-on role, you will drive automation, threat modeling, and security assessments for third-party integrations and AI tools, helping to protect data integrity and compliance across

Qualificações

• At least 5+ years in a security role with 2+ years in cloud security.
• Strong knowledge of AWS security services (IAM, EC2, VPC, ECR/ECS/EKS) and basic Azure/GCP.
• Experience with CNAPP tools (Wiz, Orca, Lacework, Upwind).
• Proficiency in Python or Go for automation.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsabilidades

• Empower engineers with safe-by-default tooling, automating security requirements and guardrails.
• Design and implement scalable systems and controls to secure our cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineering and security teams to deploy security enhancements across our cloud infrastructure.
• Build enduring, high-trust partnerships with colleagues across the Engineering organization.
• Assist in investigating security events and guiding teams to improve security practices.
• Conduct security assessments for third-party integrations and emerging AI tools.
