Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Security Engineer for the Cloud Security team. This role focuses on protecting the company’s AWS cloud and building foundational security controls, with in-person work required at Bellevue, WA, Menlo Park, CA, and New York, NY offices.

You will own security posture for cloud infrastructure, enable developers with safe defaults, and participate in a high-performance, equity-friendly environment with rewards for impact.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Golang (preferred) or Python and IaC using Terraform.
• Experience with AWS security services like IAM, SCPs, WAF, and Network Firewall.
• Knowledge of AWS Well-Architected framework and CIS Benchmarks.

Responsibilities

• Own the security posture for cloud infrastructure on which all company products are built.
• Build and operate security solutions to protect foundational infrastructure and aid developers.
• Protect the company’s AWS cloud environment and provide engineers with foundational security capabilities.
• Build, configure and set up systems with a safety-first approach.
