Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security seeks an experienced information security leader to augment the AWS CISO within the Office of the CISO. You will engage external customers and partners, as well as internal teams, focusing on AI and agentic workloads.

A diverse background in security management, solution architecture, and engineering is valued. The ideal candidate brings deep cloud knowledge, strong business acumen, and a track record of influencing product direction while guiding service teams

Qualifications

• 10+ years of tech domain experience across security, cloud, or networking.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math or equivalent.
• Experience communicating with C-level and across technical audiences.
• Experience advising customers on securing AI and agentic workloads.
• 7+ years in IT security, cloud computing, compliance frameworks, IAM, and related areas.

Responsibilities

• Explain AWS security and compliance to customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Influence customers on secure journeys to the cloud and align roadmaps with security needs.
• Own the customer security experience end-to-end and communicate risks to service teams.
• Engage senior stakeholders at CISO, board, and regulator levels worldwide.
• Advise customers on securing AI and agentic workloads.
• Scale engagement by influencing decision-makers across external and internal groups.
• Apply generative/agentic AI to expand security outreach and practices.
• Develop thought leadership content and represent AWS at industry events.
• Synthesize customer feedback to influence product direction and future needs.
