Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a seasoned information security leader to augment the Office of the CISO. You will engage with external customers, partners, and internal teams, shaping security strategy for cloud workloads and AI/agentic deployments.

The role demands broad security, solution architecture, and engineering expertise, with strong communication to executive stakeholders and a track record of innovation. Seattle area preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.
• Experience developing technology solutions and evangelising end-to-end technology roadmaps that guide IT transformations toward cloud computing.
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences and at C-level, including training, workshops, publications.
• Experience advising customers or internal teams on securing AI and agentic workloads, including AI and agentic security governance and AI model security, and using generative and agentic AI to improve the speed and reach of security engagement work.
• 7 + years of experience with IT security, cloud computing, compliance frameworks, identity and access management, service-oriented architectures, distributed systems, networking, modern application architectures, and the like.

Responsibilities

• Explain how the AWS cloud provides a secure and compliant platform for workloads to external customers and partners.
• Influence service roadmaps to keep security requirements front-and-center.
• Own the customer security experience end-to-end as the authority on cloud risks.
• Build senior relationships with CISOs, boards, and regulators worldwide.
• Advise customers on securing AI and agentic workloads.
• Scale decision-makers internally and externally with deep technical detail.
• Apply generative and agentic AI to extend security reach and practice.
• Develop thought leadership content and present at industry events.
