Job summary
SMX seeks Project/Task Managers (Mid/Senior) to lead secure, scalable multi-cloud initiatives for Air Force cloud migration and mission-critical systems. You will guide cloud delivery order projects, define scope, develop detailed work plans and track finances, while coordinating with PMs, tech leads, and stakeholders for successful outcomes.
Qualified candidates bring Agile/SAFe experience, DoD delivery familiarity, and Secret clearance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 4–7 years PM experience for mid-level; 9 years for senior-level.
- Active Security Clearance Required: Secret.
- 4+ years of related IT/cloud management experience.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, SAFe and hybrid DoD delivery models.
- Ability to interact with government clients and teams.
- Strong communication, analytical, organizational and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and Kubernetes platforms.
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, resources, risk and deliverables per contract.
- Organize and track IT tickets (JIRA/Confluence).
- Provide status reporting to customers, management and government entities.
- Prepare briefs on project status, budget and schedules.
- Ensure cloud security and compliance throughout delivery.
