The candidate should have 8+ years in production environments, strong Linux/Windows, AWS/Azure, scripting, CI/CD, and monitoring experience, with US-based eligibility for Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of systems engineering experience in production environments.
• 3+ years of SQL queries and monitoring experience.
• Experience with AWS/Azure cloud and production incident response.
• Strong scripting and automation skills across Python, Bash or PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level, day-to-day operational support of cloud-based systems.
• Develop solutions for routine technical problems of limited scope.
• Follow standard procedures to analyze situations and data.
• Detect, isolate, and report outages; implement workarounds for recovery.
• Document problems in logging and discrepancy reporting tools.
• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams on issues.
• Respond to user calls and escalate when needed.
• Maintain computing infrastructure and assets inventory.
• Support continuous improvement of IT systems and procedures.
