Meta is seeking a Cloud Production Platform Engineer to lead hardware platform expertise in production data centers and cloud capacity. You will diagnose complex hardware issues, collaborate with HW Eng and systems teams, and drive end-to-end lifecycle support for servers and storage across multiple data centers.

You will analyze fleet health, engage with equipment vendors, and help scale infrastructure through data-driven decision making and robust documentation.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• BS/BA in electrical, mechanical, or computer engineering, or equivalent hardware-engineering-related experience.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as subject matter expert for compute, storage, and accelerator platforms in Meta's production data centers and cloud capacity.
• Act as the deep escalation point for cloud hardware issues and drive investigation to resolution.
• Identify systemic hardware issues across cloud providers and Meta's fleet.
• Represent reliability and serviceability expectations to cloud providers with technical evidence.
• Carry findings from the cloud back into Meta's platform work to accelerate diagnosis.
• Provide end-to-end lifecycle support of hardware platforms and new technologies in data centers.
• Drive complex technical investigations across Hardware, Software/Firmware, Networking, Power & Cooling.
• Analyze health of the global server fleet to mitigate impact.
• Work with HW Eng, Release to Production, and Systems Integration to mass-produce servers and storage.
• Identify risks early in new hardware programs and contribute test methods.
• Act as product owner for server/storage platforms; perform RCA/CA with teams.
• Issue timely alerts and fixes to operations with robust feedback to engineering.
• Build relationships across teams and solicit feedback to improve ops as infrastructure scales.
• Provide serviceability feedback to improve repair activities.
