Job summary

Early Warning Services LLC seeks a Sr. Staff Engineer – Cloud Engineering to lead design, evolution, and operations of our cloud infrastructure. You will drive secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud-native solutions across AWS, with emphasis on reliability and observability.

Responsibilities include IaC with Terraform, CI/CD optimization, and collaboration with security/compliance teams to meet PCI-DSS, SOC 2, and FFIEC requirements. Base pay ranges $150k–$200k in USD with bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native architectures.
• Proven ability to lead large-scale cloud modernization or migration programs.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, secure engineering, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and cloud security controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, evolution, and operation of cloud infrastructure and platform capabilities.
• Drive secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud-native solutions with Terraform and AWS.
• Guide architectural decisions and patterns across multiple teams.
• Troubleshoot complex infra issues and drive remediation for reliability.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, SOC 2, FFIEC, and similar standards.
• Architect disaster recovery, high availability, and observability strategies.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices across teams.
