Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science or related field.
• 7+ years in Cloud Engineering or DevOps, with 3+ years AWS hands-on.
• Strong AWS core services knowledge and Kubernetes (EKS) expertise.
• Hands-on Docker experience and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
• Experience delivering business-critical cloud systems with Agile/DevOps practices.
• Security & compliance controls aligned with PCI-DSS, SOC 2, FFIEC; IaC with Terraform.
• Observability at scale: logging, monitoring, and incident response.
• AWS certification(s) current; ability to work in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize cloud-native solutions on AWS with cost management.
• Ensure compliance and security controls across cloud infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and participate in 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Work with security/compliance teams to meet PCI-DSS, SOC 2, FFIEC requirements.
• Implement disaster recovery and high-availability strategies.
• Apply IaC (Terraform) and CI/CD best practices across environments.
• Maintain documentation of policies, procedures, and configurations.
• Develop observability with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Splunk logging.
