Job summary

RX Global, part of RELX, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for the GTECH Cloud Engineering team based in Richmond/London. You will design, automate, secure and operate RX Cloud Platforms across AWS and Azure, collaborating with software engineers to improve infrastructure, delivery automation, observability and reliability.

The role emphasizes IaC, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and cloud security practices, plus incident management, monitoring, and cost optimization.

Qualifications

Experience with AWS and Azure, including EKS, EC2, IAM, VPC, Route53, S3 and RDS.
Terraform, CloudFormation and Infrastructure as Code experience.
Git/GitHub and CI/CD tooling experience.
Scripting in Bash/PowerShell on Linux/Windows.

Responsibilities

Design, build and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code principles.
Support AWS services including EKS, EC2, ECS/Fargate, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Route53 and CloudWatch.
Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules and infrastructure patterns.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and related tooling.
Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and release automation.
Implement cloud security best practices and support remediation activities.
Maintain monitoring, logging and alerting solutions, participate in incident management and root cause analysis.
Automate repetitive operational activities and leverage AI-assisted engineering tools.
