Job summary

RxSense is seeking a Principal Platform Engineer to own the core cloud platform, CI/CD pipelines, and reliability practices across engineering teams. You will architect scalable infrastructure on AWS and guide platform tooling that enable product, AI, and security teams to ship faster with confidence.

In this hands-on senior role, you will design and operate Kubernetes clusters, implement robust observability, and drive infrastructure as code to support a regulated healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in platform, infra, or SRE roles with staff/principal scope.
• Hands-on CI/CD design and operation for high-velocity teams.
• Strong AWS expertise, including IAM, networking, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Proven track record building internal developer platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate core cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Own the CI/CD platform across engineering teams and rollout processes.
• Build and maintain observability stack: logging, metrics, tracing, alerting.
• Drive IaC practices and manage Kubernetes clusters and controllers.
• Collaborate with security/compliance on secrets and access controls.
• Design self-service tooling and platform APIs for teams.
• Own incident response tooling and on-call reliability standards.
• Partner with leadership on cost visibility and optimization.
• Document interfaces, runbooks, and developer guidance.
• Participate in code reviews and promote best practices.
