Job summary

Early Warning Services LLC is seeking a Sr. Director of Cloud Engineering to lead the deployment and operation of our cloud platforms.

You will shape the multi-year cloud strategy, drive architectural standards, and partner with security, finance, and business leaders to deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions. The role requires 15+ years in cloud infrastructure with at least 8 years in leadership, strong AWS experience, and a user-first mindset focused on business outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer information systems/computer science or related field.
15+ years of experience managing complex cloud infrastructure including 8+ years in leadership.
Extensive experience designing and managing scalable cloud solutions on AWS.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities

Define and execute the cloud engineering roadmap and platform strategy.
Lead a multi-disciplined, high-performance cloud team and manage risk/costs.
Collaborate with security, finance and other functions to ensure compliance and ROI.
Mentor and empower engineers to improve velocity and reliability.
