Job summary

Crusoe is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build and own Crusoe Cloud’s customer-facing observability products. You will manage the full surface from APIs to onboarding and configuration, with emphasis on reliability and ease of use.

You will work on ingestion endpoints, query APIs, retention controls, and multi-tenant workflows while collaborating across product, support, and SRE teams to deliver scalable, low-touch experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with modern compiled languages: Go, Rust, Java, or C++.
• Cloud and distributed systems design experience.
• Observability data and tooling familiarity.
• Ability to own customer-facing services end to end.

Responsibilities

• Own customer-facing services: design, build, and operate ingestion endpoints, query APIs, retention, access controls, and onboarding/config workflows.
• Turn manual workflows into low-touch product experiences with robust APIs, defaults, and guardrails.
• Design scalable, durable services with multi-tenancy, quotas, and cost visibility.
• Collaborate with product, cloud support, and SRE to translate feedback into roadmap items.
• Participate in on-call rotation and improve alerting, runbooks, and automation.
• Innovate features that differentiate Crusoe Cloud’s observability offerings with turn-key integration.
