Job summary

The NYS Office of Information Technology Services seeks a Senior Cloud Network Security Manager to oversee advanced design, security, and deployment of multi-Cloud connectivity across Azure, AWS, GCP, and NYS data centers. You will lead cloud networking initiatives, supervise staff, and coordinate with security teams to ensure robust, scalable network architectures.

Responsibilities include managing VPNs, virtual appliances, and CSP connectivity, plus on-call support and cross-team

Qualifications

• Seven years of information technology, cybersecurity, or information assurance experience, including one year at the supervisory level.
• Bachelor's degree with CS credits substitutes for three years of experience; master's substitutes for one year of experience.
• Networking certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior Cloud network security manager and lead liaison for security designs across Azure, AWS, GCP, and NYS data centers.
• Manage secure Cloud network connectivity for dozens of NYS agencies across Cloud platforms.
• Design and deploy Cloud networking infrastructure in AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Implement on-premises to Cloud connectivity solutions in collaboration with security and architecture teams.
• Lead in the orchestration of multi-discipline technologies for problem resolution and system enhancements.
• Provide 24x7 on-call network support for troubleshooting and ticket resolutions.
