Job summary

PTR Global is seeking a Senior Multi-Cloud Infrastructure and Security Architect in New York for a full-time contractor role. You will lead secure, enterprise-grade multi-cloud infrastructure design across AWS and Azure, with hybrid connectivity and strong emphasis on security controls.

Collaborate with Cyber Security and on-prem teams to migrate workloads to the cloud. The role requires 8+ years in large-scale IT infrastructure, hands-on cloud expertise, and strong scripting skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise IT infrastructure experience.
• Hands-on with AWS and Azure; cloud networking and identity.
• Strong on-prem networking background; mapping to cloud constructs.
• Automation-first mindset and proficiency with automation toolsets.
• Pragmatic security knowledge; familiarity with cloud security frameworks.
• Proficient in Python, Shell scripting, and Unix/Linux.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, enterprise-grade multi-cloud architecture across AWS and Azure with hybrid connectivity.
• Architect HA and disaster recovery across providers with automated failover.
• Define and maintain IaC repositories and secure CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Act as SME for cloud infrastructure within Cyber Security; collaborate with on-prem teams to migrate workloads.
