Job summary

PTR Global is seeking a Senior Multi-Cloud Infrastructure and Security Architect in New York for a contract role. You will lead hybrid and multi-cloud architecture across AWS and Azure, ensure high availability, implement IaC practices, and coordinate security-focused cloud configurations with the Cyber Security team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience managing, designing, and deploying IT infrastructure within a Fortune 500 or equivalent large-scale enterprise.
• Deep, hands-on production experience with at least two major cloud vendors (AWS and Azure).
• Strong networking background with cloud-native constructs (VPCs, VNets, Transit Gateways).
• Advanced proficiency with automation toolsets and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Hybrid & Multi-Cloud Architecture Design: Architect and implement secure, enterprise-grade multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
• Infrastructure Resiliency & DR: Design HA and disaster recovery topologies across clouds with automated failover.
• Infrastructure as Code & Automation: Define and maintain IaC repos; build secure CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Technical Advisory: Serve as SME for cloud infrastructure within Cyber Security and coordinate migration from on-prem to cloud.
