Job summary

Axon is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join the Global Operations team. You’ll design, integrate, and implement our public safety product networks, ensuring 24/7 high availability for clients in national and international sectors.

You will lead complex deployments, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with vendors to maintain secure and resilient infrastructure. This role emphasizes proactive problem solving, data-driven decisions, and cross-functional communication.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in network engineering for critical services
• Design AWS environment with Terraform
• Hands-on with Fortinet Firewalls, SD-WAN, Cisco switches/routers
• Strong troubleshooting, data analytics, and production support

Responsibilities

• Lead network projects including establishment, upgrades, expansions, and migrations
• Configure and maintain Fortinet Firewalls, Cisco devices, and ensure security best practices
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, perform upgrades and deep-dive packet analysis
• Collaborate with vendors/service providers to resolve network challenges
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
• Deploy network infra using IaC tools and pipelines
