Job summary

Axon seeks a Senior Network Engineer to design, integrate, and implement our public safety products for national 911 and government clients worldwide. You will lead network projects, implement IaC with Terraform, and ensure 24/7 reliability in On-Prem/Cloud/Hybrid environments.

The role requires deep AWS networking knowledge, strong production debugging skills, and mentoring for junior engineers. Join a fast-paced team focused on safe, connected solutions while delivering robust network

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on network engineering experience.
• Experience designing complex networks with IaC (Terraform).
• Lead network design across On-Premise, Cloud and Hybrid.
• Strong AWS VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, ALB/NLB, Route 53 knowledge.
• SD-WAN architecture experience.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN, DNS.
• Able to debug production systems and perform packet capture analysis.
• Familiar with Git and DevOps tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, integration, and implementation of Axon public safety products.
• Ensure 24/7 service levels across customers.
• Lead network design across On-Prem, Cloud, and Hybrid.
• Mentor junior network engineers and provide guidance.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to resolve challenges.
• Deploy network infrastructure using IaC and pipelines.
