Qualifications

• Proven track record as a senior software engineer with end-to-end ownership of cloud-based production systems on AWS.
• Deep hands-on experience in Java building distributed calculation engines and event-driven services; polyglot stack.
• Experience designing and operating cloud-native platforms using microservices, gRPC/REST APIs, and managed AWS services (Fargate, Lambda, Step Functions, Aurora, ElastiCache, S3).
• Demonstrated experience using AI agents and AI-based tooling for enterprise software development—code generation, automated analysis, diagnostics, or migration validation.
• Strong testing discipline using modern frameworks and patterns, with an instinct for writing code that is correct by construction.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems - data consistency, failure modes, observability, and operational realities of running financial infrastructure at scale.

Responsibilities

• Architect the cloud-native post-trade platform and automate operational excellence.
• Own production services end-to-end from design through deployment and incident response.
• Drive transformation to AWS/GCP with automated reconciliation and dual-run validation.
• Pioneer AI-driven engineering across specification, testing, reconciliation analysis, and diagnostics.
• Mentor engineers to grow into senior technical leaders and shape infrastructure decisions.
• Partner with business, risk, trading, and operations to improve automation and reliability.
• Contribute to CDK infrastructure stacks, CI/CD pipelines, and multi-region deployment.
