Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience in Java (Java 17+ preferred).
• Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools and governance of AI-generated code.
• Experience building event-driven and distributed systems with messaging platforms (e.g., Apache Kafka).
• Strong SDLC practices: version control, CI/CD pipelines, automated builds/tests/deployments.
• Solid testing discipline: unit, integration, and acceptance testing.
• Ability to navigate large codebases and collaborate across distributed teams.
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate high-availability, multi-region, cloud-native services with security and observability embedded.
• Develop event-driven architectures and optimized data paths for trade lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with engineers, domain experts, and stakeholders to modernize processes across teams.
• Manage full software component lifecycles from requirements to release following robust SDLC practices.
• Create reusable capabilities to support Global Markets front, middle, and back offices.
• Leverage AI coding agents to accelerate understanding of large codebases and production quality code.
