Job summary

Huntington National Bank seeks a strong back-end developer with cloud engineering background to join our analytics activation team. The role emphasizes Java-based API apps, event-driven architecture, and DevSecOps practices in a hybrid office environment.

Ideal candidates have 5–7+ years of Java development, proficiency with SQL (Oracle/Snowflake), and experience in production support. Certifications in cloud architecture are highly preferred and agile collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of Java development experience with API-enabled apps and event-driven architecture.
• SQL queries and stored procedures; Oracle and Snowflake experience.
• 2+ years in production support, infra engineering or admin roles.
• Experience with DevSecOps; Kubernetes or container-based tech including deployment pipelines.
• Cloud certifications (architect/engineer/developer) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, designs, and develops systems per user specs.
• Provides technical assistance for hardware/software problems.
• Maintains knowledge of tools for systems development and support.
• Keeps up with technical industry trends relevant to Huntington.
• May assist with training needs or staff development.
• May serve as project leader for specific projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
