Job summary

Huntington National Bank seeks a Senior Programmer/Analyst with strong GCP experience to reinforce the Enterprise Payments platform. You will develop cloud-native Java back-end services, design RESTful APIs, and support event-driven payment processing, while maintaining production stability.

You will collaborate with IS Tech Specialists, architects, and analysts to deliver secure, scalable payment solutions, following enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's Degree and related experience or completion of Huntington’s Technical Youth/apprenticeship program
• Hands-on experience developing and supporting cloud-native applications on GCP and Java (Spring/Spring Boot)
• Experience with RESTful APIs, integration testing, and API design across a payments ecosystem

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
• Develop and maintain back-end services using Java (Spring Boot) and design, build, and version RESTful APIs with documentation and testing
• Demonstrate knowledge of GCP, CLI, services, and integrations
• Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-native applications on GCP (Cloud Functions/Run; GKE) and APIs via Apigee or API Gateway
• Provide production support including on-call rotation and incident management
