Huntington National Bank is seeking a Lead Software Development Engineer to design, build, and support cloud-native data ingestion and processing platforms. You will lead technical work on batch, streaming, and event-driven architectures, guiding implementation and improvements across enterprise-scale systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
7+ years in software/platform/cloud engineering.
Experience with Java and/or Python for enterprise apps.

Responsibilities

Analyze, design, develop, and support enterprise apps and platform services.
Evaluate architectures and recommend technologies for scalability and reliability.
Build cloud-native data ingestion and processing solutions with batch and streaming workloads.
Provide technical leadership during design reviews and implementation efforts.
Troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
Mentor engineers and lead by example across teams.
