Job summary

Huntington National Bank seeks a strong back-end developer with cloud engineering background to join our analytics activation team in Austin, TX. You will build API-enabled applications and event-driven systems using Java, Spring, and cloud-native practices, delivering services across channels.

The role requires 7+ years of Java development, experience with SQL/Oracle/Snowflake, and familiarity with DevSecOps and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

Degree required (Bachelor's).
7+ years of Java development experience and API-enabled apps.
2+ years in production support or infrastructure.
Experience with DevSecOps and container tech like Kubernetes.
Learning mindset with openness to learn new technologies, build things and experiment.
Certifications in cloud architecture/engineering/developer preferred.

Responsibilities

Analyzes, designs, and develops systems based upon user specifications.
Provides technical assistance in solving hardware or software problems.
Possesses an in-depth knowledge of and works with the technical tools available for systems development and support.
Maintains and demonstrates knowledge of technical industry trends, particularly as they apply to Huntington.
May assist with identifying training needs or with training of less experienced staff.
May serve as project leader for specific projects.
Performs other duties as assigned.
