Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Senior Control Tower Specialist to oversee end-to-end freight movements across origin pickup, linehaul, and final delivery, acting as a trusted liaison between customers, carriers and internal teams. You will drive service excellence by analyzing performance data, managing exceptions, and ensuring alignment with SLAs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred
• 5+ years’ experience in FTL/LTL, logistics, transportation brokerage, or related field required
• Experience with Transportation management software
• Prior experience interpreting contracts or SLAs and implementing logistics solutions a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full lifecycle of shipments from pickup to final delivery.
• Serve as escalation point for complex final mile delivery issues.
• Analyze trends in service failures, accessorials, delivery refusals, and customer feedback.
• Develop process improvements to increase on-time and in-full delivery metrics.
• Interpret and enforce SLAs with contracts and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Operation Managers, Key Account Managers, and external logistics providers.
• Investigate and resolve exceptions with minimal oversight.
• Provide timely communication updates with carriers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor real-time shipment data and TMS inputs.
• Provide strategic insights to leadership based on shipment trends and KPIs.
• Partner with Sales, Warehouse Operations, and Customer Success for integrated solutions.
• Lead or support special initiatives and onboarding related to final mile logistics.
• Support ad-hoc reporting and project assignments.
• Track last-leg movements and resolve delays.
• Other duties as assigned.
