Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Senior Control Tower Specialist to oversee and coordinate transportation and logistics operations, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal shipment scheduling. You will monitor shipments, analyze data, and collaborate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to drive efficiency and cost savings.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field, 5+ years of control tower experience, strong communication, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in transportation and logistics operations, with a focus on control tower operations.
Experience with international shipping and customs regulations is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Knowledge of transportation management systems and other logistics software.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage shipment schedules and coordinate transportation operations
Monitor shipments and provide updates to customers and internal stakeholders
Communicate with carriers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods
Analyze transportation data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings
Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and customer service, to ensure smooth transportation operations
