Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Irvine, CA seeks a Senior GCP Cloud Intelligence SA to lead cloud-native solutions and advise field teams on go-to-market strategies.

You will collaborate with cross-functional groups to develop and communicate guidance across AWS and GCP, shaping customer engagements and product insights. You will translate complex business needs into scalable cloud architectures, mentor team members, and influence strategic direction for cloud migration and modernization

Qualifications

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical degree or related experience
• 4+ years of enterprise technology experience
• 4+ years experience architecting cloud solutions in GCP

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert on GCP technology and GCP’s go-to-market strategy.
• Consult with field SAs and BDs to analyze customers’ business and technical requirements and determine how the needs can best be met by AWS.
• Present your recommendations and designs directly to customers, demonstrating proficiency interacting with business executives (CxOs) and technical audiences (Architect/Director).
• Analyze trends and competitive offerings to generate technical and business insights. Foster a community of compete specialists who leverage your insights.
• Technical content creation (decks, whitepapers, recordings)
• Deliver technical presentations and trainings to field SAs, BDMs, and product stake holders.
• Deliver operational excellence managing a pipeline of technical engagements that requires rapid delivery and frequent reprioritization.
