Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking an Infrastructure Cloud Engineer (Contractor) to design, manage, and secure cloud infrastructure across Azure AVS, AWS, and related services.

The role emphasizes multi-cloud expertise and strong scripting capabilities. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Windows and Linux, automation, and enterprise IT environments, including on-premises integration and identity management.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in Windows and Linux-based OS configuration, automation, and management.
• 5–7 years in automation scripting, including PowerShell or equivalent.
• 8+ years in systems administration/engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT Management or related field; equivalent education/experience.
• Certifications: VMware VCP, AWS CCP, AWS CSA.

Responsibilities

• Azure AVS cloud solutioning, maintenance and deployment.
• Experience with AWS; knowledge of OCI is a plus.
• Manage cloud infra: VMs, Azure DB/storage, VNets, SRM, ARM templates, load balancers, Azure AD.
• Perform infrastructure upgrades to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• On-premises infra: AD, DNS, VMWare, firewalls, routing.
• Identity and user management via Azure or 3rd party.
