Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for our storage team to design, build, and optimize our next-generation cloud storage products. You will contribute to high-performance, scalable storage infrastructure powering AI/HPC workloads.

You'll work across design, implementation, and observability with Go, Java, C/C++, or Rust, focusing on multi-tenant, distributed storage systems and filesystem-based solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience building multi-tenant, cloud-scale distributed storage infrastructure.
• Strong background in high-performance filesystem products and Linux filesystems.
• Proficiency with Linux and storage subsystems, monitoring (Prometheus), and tracing.
• Experience with distributed storage components across file, object, and block storage.

Responsibilities

• Build core components of a petabyte-scale storage platform for AI/ML workloads.
• Design scalable, resilient storage architectures and observability tooling.
• Troubleshoot complex distributed systems and provide production support.
• Collaborate across software infrastructure, product, and other teams with ownership.
