Job summary

Crusoe Energy is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to join our on-site Data Science and Engineering team in Sunnyvale, CA or San Francisco, CA. You will architect and build the foundational data platform powering Crusoe's AI and cloud operations.

You will implement scalable data pipelines, ensure data quality and reliability, and collaborate across engineering, data science, and operations to accelerate projects. A strong background in Python, SQL, and distributed systems is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of software/data infrastructure experience.
• Strong Python and systems programming fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable data platform infrastructure for analytics, ML, and operational intelligence.
• Develop data processing pipelines and storage solutions optimized for AI workloads.
• Ensure data quality, validation, monitoring, and observability at scale.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and operations to deliver robust infrastructure.
• Mentor teammates and help set data engineering best practices.
