Job summary

Crusoe is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its on-site roles in San Francisco or Sunnyvale, CA. You will shape architecture for managed AI services, build scalable infrastructure, and ensure cost-efficient, high-performance operations across millions of requests per second.

You'll lead core systems such as queues, catalogs, and scheduling, while collaborating with product and engineering teams to drive the AI platform roadmap and contribute to open-source AI frameworks.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Computer Science/Engineering.
• 4-5+ years of industry experience leading diverse initiatives.
• Experience with distributed systems, cloud services, and delivering early-stage projects quickly.
• AI/ML expertise with Generative AI and AI infrastructure (training, inference, ETL pipelines).
• Proficient with container runtimes (Kubernetes), microservices, REST APIs, gRPC, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core AI services including fault-tolerant queues, model catalogs, and scheduling mechanisms.
• Architect and scale infrastructure to handle millions of API requests per second.
• Collaborate with product management and other teams to define the AI platform roadmap.
• Prototype and iterate on emerging technologies and features.
