Job summary

Salesforce’s Digital Enterprise Technology (DET) organization seeks an experienced technical leader to guide the DET IT Finance Engineering team. You will architect, design, and deliver scalable Workday Financials and related integrations, mentor engineers, and drive innovation across AI/automation within enterprise finance platforms.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust, secure, and scalable financial solutions while shaping the technology roadmap and governance

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise software engineering experience.
• Experience with Workday Financials/Accounting Center or comparable ERP platforms.
• Proven leadership in architecture and solution design for large-scale enterprise systems.
• Hands-on ERP integrations with external platforms (Salesforce, RevPro, Vertex, banking systems).
• Strong API design, SOA patterns, and web services (REST/SOAP).
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead architectural discussions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication of complex designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and delivery of scalable enterprise finance solutions.
• Develop and govern Workday Financials solutions and integrations with external systems.
• Translate complex finance requirements into robust technical designs.
• Ensure coding standards, security best practices, and performance optimization.
• Mentor engineers through architecture reviews and code reviews.
• Collaborate with product managers, analysts, and integrators for end-to-end delivery.
• Drive adoption of AI/automation and emerging technologies.
• Promote continuous learning and engineering excellence across teams.
• Plan for future scalability of Workday and integration frameworks.
