Job summary

Precise Systems in the United States is seeking a Cloud Engineer III to lead secure cloud architecture design, implementation, and modernization across AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, and on-premises environments in support of Navy and DoD mission capabilities. The role requires in-person support, a TS/SCI clearance, and a strong background in DevSecOps, IaC, and multi-classification security.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related experience.
• Experience with cloud architectures across AWS/Azure and GovCloud environments.
• Experience developing secure cloud, hybrid cloud, edge-to-cloud architectures.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, automation, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes in cloud deployments.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, identity, storage, compute, monitoring, and operations.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate complex decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of secure cloud architectures supporting Navy mission capabilities.
• Develop hybrid edge-to-cloud architectures integrating tactical edge nodes and on-premises infra.
• Architect solutions across multi-classification environments with cross-domain considerations.
• Lead cloud deployments and modernization across AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, on-premises, and containerized environments.
• Implement and optimize DevSecOps pipelines with CI/CD, IaC, automated security scanning, configuration management, and secure deployment practices.
• Ensure cloud architectures comply with DoW cloud standards, IL4-6+, Zero Trust, RMF, cybersecurity controls.
• Provide technical leadership to engineers, cybersecurity personnel, operators, program leadership, and government stakeholders.
• Support architecture reviews, planning, risk identification, and stakeholder briefings.
