Job summary

Precise Systems seeks a highly experienced Cloud Engineer III to lead the design, implementation, modernization, and sustainment of secure cloud, hybrid cloud, and edge-to-cloud architectures supporting advanced Navy and DoW mission capabilities. This role requires in-person support and senior-level technical leadership across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
• Current Security+ certification required.
• 10+ years of cloud architecture and related experience.
• Experience with AWS GovCloud and Azure Government environments.
• Proficient in IaC, automation, CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of secure cloud architectures for navy mission capabilities.
• Develop hybrid edge-to-cloud architectures integrating tactical edge nodes and on-premises infra.
• Architect solutions in multi-classification environments with cross-domain considerations.
• Drive cloud deployments across AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, on-premises, and containerized environments.
• Implement and optimize DevSecOps pipelines with IaC and secure deployment practices.
• Ensure compliance with DoD cloud standards, RMF, Zero Trust, and mission assurance.
• Provide leadership to engineers, cybersecurity personnel, and government stakeholders.
