Job summary

Acuity, Inc. is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support the U.S. Department of State.

You will implement, secure, automate, and support enterprise cloud environments across Azure, AWS, GCP, and OCI, collaborating with cybersecurity, networking, systems, and application teams to deliver scalable, compliant cloud solutions. The role emphasizes cloud modernization, migration, Infrastructure as Code, DevSecOps, and federal cybersecurity standards such as RMF, NIST SP 800-53, FedRAMP, and FISMA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/IT/engineering.
• 3+ years in cloud engineering for enterprise environments.
• Experience with OCI and multi-cloud migrations.
• Experience with IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with NIST RMF, FedRAMP, FISMA, and DoS security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and optimize multi-cloud infrastructure securely.
• Migrate applications and infrastructure to cloud with IaaS/PaaS/SaaS.
• Implement cloud security controls including IAM, MFA, encryption, Zero Trust.
• Develop IaC using Terraform, Bicep/ARM, CloudFormation, Ansible.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and container workloads.
• Support CI/CD pipelines with DevSecOps practices.
• Monitor, log, alert, and ensure observability with cloud tools.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and stakeholder teams; ensure compliance.
• Document configurations and runbooks.
