Job summary

STR’s Systems Development Division seeks a Senior Cloud Software Engineer to implement and operate DevSecOps pipelines for embedded RF and radar software. You will configure diverse environments, ensure security compliance, and collaborate across teams to improve tooling and processes.

A Top-Secret clearance and US citizenship are required, with cloud experience in IL4/IL5/IL6 environments. Responsibilities include maintaining CI/CD pipelines, mentoring colleagues, and documenting architectures.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Ability to obtain a Top-Secret Security Clearance.
• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field.
• Experience with DevSecOps pipelines, preferably on a DoD development effort.
• Experience with cloud providers such as AWS or Azure in IL4/IL5/IL6 environments.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools and build systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform DevSecOps pipeline implementation including development, deployment, maintenance, optimization and operation of all phases of the DevSecOps process and tool chain.
• Support DevSecOps pipelines in unclassified and classified environments using a variety of code quality tools.
• Configure and maintain multiple development and DevOps environments at different classification levels.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure infrastructure toolsets are configured and reliable, in compliance with DoD standards.
• Coach team members on DevSecOps best practices and automate processes.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements.
• Document the pipeline architecture, tools and user processes.
• Evangelize DevOps and DevSecOps and support tooling, environments, debugging and testing.
