Job summary

STR is seeking a skilled DevSecOps professional to support CI/CD pipelines for embedded RF systems, signal processing, and radar software in Air-to-Air applications. The role is based near Dayton, OH, within STR’s Systems Development Division (SDD).

You will configure multiple environments across classification levels, focus on developer productivity and security, and mentor the team while improving automation and tooling reliability.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance.
• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field.
• Demonstrated experience with DevSecOps pipelines, preferably on a DoD development effort.
• Experience with AWS or Azure in IL4/IL5/IL6 environments.
• Proficient with build, CI/CD tools: Bazel, CMake, GCC, GitLab, Jenkins, GTest, GCov, clang-tools.
• Comfortable in Linux and Windows environments.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Swarm, Rancher.
• Familiarity with security scanning tools (SonarQube, Coverity, Semgrep, Anchore).
• Familiarity with Ansible, Chef, or Terraform; monitoring tools (Grafana, ELK, Splunk).
• Strong scripting and automation skills; knowledge of OOP and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform DevSecOps pipeline implementation across all phases of the toolchain.
• Support pipelines in unclassified and classified DoD environments with quality tools.
• Configure and maintain development and DevOps environments at different classification levels.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure infrastructure reliability and compliance with DoD standards.
• Coach team members on DevSecOps best practices and automate processes.
• Identify improvements and implement enhancements; document architectures and processes.
• Promote DevOps/DevSecOps culture and support tooling, debugging, and testing.
