Job summary

Amazon’s AWS division in Denver seeks an experienced Senior Specialist Business Development for Media & Entertainment, Games, and Sports. You will partner with account teams to grow revenue and shape strategic opportunities. Lead PoC initiatives, collaborate with architects, and guide delivery and services engagement.

The role requires building executive-level workshops, working with partners, and representing AWS at industry events to accelerate cloud adoption in media workloads.

Qualifications

• 7+ years negotiating and executing business agreements.
• 7+ years working with Core Cloud Technology Services (Compute, Edge, Hybrid, Security, and/or Networking).
• 7+ years working with Business Application Technologies (EUC, Supply Chain, Contact Center as a Service, Consumer Data Applications, Encrypted Communications, and/or Communication Developer Services).
• 7+ years solving problems with technology in the Media & Entertainment Industry.
• 7+ years working with Advanced Compute technologies including Accelerated Compute, High Performance Compute, Visual/Spatial Compute, and/or IoT.
• 7+ years working with Enterprise Application Modernization and Migration technologies (Mainframe, Serverless, Containers, or Cloud Operations).
• 7+ years working with Data & AI related technologies (AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage).
• Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
• Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader or business unit owner.
• Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations.

Responsibilities

• Partnering with Account Management teams to drive incremental sales pipeline and revenue growth from Media & Entertainment, Games, and Sports workloads.
• Working with customers and AWS partners to identify and lead proof of concept engagements and develop new and innovative solutions.
• Partnering with AWS Solutions Architecture resources in design, Proof of Concept (POC), pricing, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and delivery activities.
• Collaborating with AWS professional Services to implement solutions and packaged offerings.
• Conducting executive workshops with industry leaders.
• Participating in and representing AWS in key Media & Entertainment industry associations and events.
