Job summary

Splitero, Inc. is seeking a Senior Closer to manage the closing process for home equity investments, review funding and disclosure documents, and coordinate with title companies to ensure accurate disbursements.

This role requires strong regulatory knowledge (TRID, TILA, RESPA) and superb organization, with collaboration across internal teams and third-party vendors. Start remote through January 2027, then hybrid in San Diego, Tue–Thu in the office, with Mon and Fri optional remote.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of operations experience in Financial Services, Real Estate, or Mortgage.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in the San Diego office starting January 2027 (in-office Tue–Thu).
• Ability to navigate complex closing scenarios through problem-solving and decision-making.
• Dedication to delivering exceptional customer service to homeowners throughout the closing process.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills for meticulous documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage the closing process for home equity investment transactions, ensuring all necessary documents are accurately prepared.
• Serve as a point of contact for homeowners during the closing process, providing updates and addressing inquiries.
• Communicate proactively with production teammates, escrow agents, and title agents throughout the closing process.
• Coordinate with settlement agents to prepare final Closing Disclosures and ensure tolerances are met.
• Work with title companies to organize notary appointments.
• Prepare a file for funding by reviewing executed documents for completeness.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to improve efficiency.
• Review team funding documents, set up wires, and coordinate with the title company for timely disbursements.
• Provide coverage for team members who are out of the office and support the Closing Manager.
