Opendoor is seeking an Escrow Closer to support nationwide refinance closings. You will manage the process from receipt to closing, ensuring lender instructions and title insurance requirements are met.

You will be the single point of contact for borrowers, loan officers, processors, and underwriters, preparing closing documents and verifying disbursements and legal descriptions.

This role requires high accuracy, strong organization, and the ability to work remotely with flexible scheduling.

Competenze

• Experience in title and escrow industry.
• Excellent customer service skills with Borrowers, Loan officers, Processors, and Underwriters.
• Familiarity with refinance transactions and requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of escrow processes and mortgage lending regulations.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.

• Manage the real estate closing transaction and exercise independent judgment.
• Determine steps to properly cure title per contracts and lender instructions.
• Prepare all closing documents to issue title insurance at closing.
• Secure required corrective and other documents for title insurance.
• Serve as single point of contact for borrowers, loan officers, processors, and others.
• Assist customers with closing-related questions.
• Confirm funds, documents, signatures, and acknowledgments before disbursement.
• Verify all taxes, HOA dues, delinquencies, and interest prior to closing.
• Verify disbursements against the closing disclosure or settlement.
• Review legal documents for correct acknowledgments, lien information before recording.
• Develop client relationships for future closings.
