Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Principal Financial Analyst to support the U.S. Commercial segment within Endoscopy Finance at the Minnesota campus.

The role focuses on revenue forecasting, financial planning, scenario modeling, and performance analysis to drive growth and margin improvements. You will work cross-functionally with Commercial, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to translate business strategies into financial outcomes and enable data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
• MBA or CPA designation.
• Experience supporting forecasting, budgeting, financial planning, and business performance analysis.
• Experience with SAP, Hyperion, BusinessObjects (BOXI), CMR, SPEND, or similar enterprise financial systems.
• Experience supporting Integrated Business Planning (IBP), pricing strategy, inventory management, or margin improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary finance partner to U.S. Commercial leadership, providing financial insights for strategic decisions.
• Lead revenue forecasting activities, including monthly outlooks and annual planning.
• Develop scenario models and business cases to evaluate growth opportunities and investments.
• Analyze sales, profitability, pricing, and margin performance; provide actionable recommendations.
• Partner with Marketing and Operations to support pricing strategies and margin initiatives.
• Support IBP activities, including demand and supply alignment and inventory management.
