Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or equivalent with management coursework.
• Preferred: associate or bachelor’s degree in management, healthcare administration, or related field.
• Successful MA program completion and MA externship.
• Current MA credential or ability to attain MA credential.
• Valid CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of MA staff and office areas.
• Recruit, hire, orient, train, and coach MA staff per guidelines.
• Coordinate scheduling and timekeeping; manage Time & Attendance system.
• Enter medications, labs, and radiology orders into EMR per guidelines.
• Evaluate MA staff performance and handle merit increases, promotions, or disciplinary actions.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; ensure safe, efficient operations.
