Job summary

Trinity Health MI is seeking a full-time supervisor to oversee medical assisting staff and office operations. You will lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and staff development while ensuring efficient workflow and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities include scheduling, EMR order entry, vaccine program management, and compliance with HIPAA and other regulations. Strong leadership and communication are essential to maintaining a high‑morale, service‑oriented team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in management or healthcare administration preferred.
• Completion of accredited MA program and externship; CPR certification and MA credential required.
• LPN/RN license in Michigan.
• Minimum 5 years clinical experience with supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of MA staff and assigned office areas.
• Recruit, hire, orient, train and coach MA staff following HR guidelines.
• Coordinate scheduling and Time & Attendance; manage time-off requests.
• Enter medication, lab, and radiology orders into the EMR per guidelines.
• Oversee immunization programs and vaccine coverage; perform clinical audits.
• Develop clinical protocols to ensure regulatory compliance and patient safety.
• Support office budget development; participate in required meetings and committees.
• Maintain confidentiality and collaborate with leadership to improve patient experience.
