Job summary

HistoSonics is seeking a Sr. Clinical Applications Specialist to drive onboarding and clinical readiness for a growing commercial team. The role emphasizes immersive field coaching, competency development, and mentorship, bridging classroom training with real-world application.

The position requires 5+ years in clinical applications or medical affairs, knowledge of image-guided procedures, and the ability to travel up to 70% to customer sites and training events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in clinical discipline preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in clinical applications, clinical education, medical affairs, or post-market clinical support within medical devices or interventional medicine.
• Background in diagnostic medical sonography and/or RDMS certification is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of image-guided procedures, treatment workflow, and physician training models.
• Ability to travel (approx. 70%) to support field insight gathering, training, and Medical Affairs collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Execute the field immersion phase of the onboarding program with hands-on coaching and performance feedback.
• Develop clinical competency and field readiness of new hires through structured coaching and guided experiences.
• Coach new hires on clinical workflow, physician interaction, imaging optimization, and procedural execution.
• Conduct structured competency evaluations and provide timely developmental feedback.
