Job summary

HistoSonics is seeking a Sr. Clinical Applications Specialist to accelerate onboarding and field readiness for our commercial team.

This role blends classroom education with practical, hands-on clinical mentorship across diverse environments, ensuring new hires can safely support histotripsy procedures. You will collaborate with Clinical Training Leaders and cross-functional teams to build scalable onboarding and maintain high patient-safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a clinical discipline strongly preferred.
• 5+ years in clinical applications, clinical education, medical affairs, or post-market clinical support.
• Background in diagnostic sonography and/or RDMS is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of image-guided procedures and physician training models.
• Ability to travel approximately 70% to support field activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead field immersion phase of onboarding with hands-on coaching and real-world case exposure.
• Develop candidate competency and field readiness through structured coaching and assessments.
• Coach on clinical workflow, imaging optimization, treatment planning, and post-procedure tasks.
• Conduct structured competency evaluations and provide developmental feedback.
• Maintain onboarding progress documentation within the LMS and related systems.
• Identify gaps and create individualized development plans for onboarding.
• Coordinate with Clinical Training team for Foundations and Advanced Training.
• Ensure standardized clinical workflows and documentation across cohorts.
• Travel to customer sites, events, and internal meetings to support onboarding.
