Job summary

Adventist Health Boonville, CA is seeking a Lead Clinical Laboratory Scientist for the day shift. The role serves as technical consultant and supervisor of laboratory personnel, develops policies, ensures accreditation and OSHA standards, and oversees testing across departments.

This position requires a BS in medical technology, five years CL laboratory experience, two years leadership, and CA CLS license; ASCP/NCA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology or allied fields is required.
• Five years of clinical laboratory experience preferred.
• Two years of leadership experience preferred.
• Valid Clinical Laboratory Scientist license in CA required.
• ASCP or NCA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all laboratory testing and coordinates POCT activities.
• Reviews results for validity, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
• Establishes test performance characteristics and evaluates new tech.
• Manages staffing, training, promotions, and personnel needs.
• Oversees QA/QC and preventive maintenance; ensures accreditation.
