Job summary

Adventist Health Hopland, CA is seeking a Lead Clinical Laboratory Scientist to provide technical leadership, supervise laboratory personnel, and oversee all testing performance.

You will develop and enforce policies, maintain quality control, ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, OSHA, and coordinate POCT and instrument maintenance.

Requires a Bachelor’s in medical technology or related field, 5 years in clinical labs, and 2 years of leadership; California CLS license preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, biological sciences, chemical sciences or allied health technologies or equivalent is required

Responsibilities

• Oversees all laboratory testing and coordinates POCT.
• Reviews and evaluates test results for accuracy and validity.
• Ensures departmental compliance with CLIA, CAP, JC, FDA, OSHA and related regulations.
